The Magic Grease is one of the many greases found throughout Elden Ring.
A solidified grease made from a mixture of magically resonant substances. It is used to coat armaments, adding magic damage. As long as it is applied properly.
Equip Magic Grease in Quick Access Slots, then press X/R to apply it to the weapon. Magic Coating lasts 60 seconds, increasing damage by 85. Magic Coating lasts 60 seconds, increasing damage by 85.
Consumables such as the Grease can imbue weapons with the power of magical damage. If found or crafted, it can be applied to your mainhand weapon in a few short moments, which will allow you to deal additional damage for a bit, and can deal even more magic damage to those enemies who are weak to this element.

How Many Greases Are There?
Twelve versions of Grease are available in this game. Every one of them has a faster counterpart that lasts longer and applies faster. The use of these is crucial when using Regular Weapons. These are best saved for harder boss fights because they deal more damage and make the fight easier.
They only last a limited time, so make sure you use them wisely. Explore them and you will find many uses for each one.

After you have obtained Glintstone Craftsman’s Cookbook 5, additional crafting recipes will be unlocked.
Find the sunken church with enemies on its roof northwest of the Academy Gate Town Site of Grace. There will be a tower you can jump into with the Cookbook there.
